Star Wars: The Force Awakens – new video from SDCC

Some new footage has emerged from the San Diego Comic Con ‘Star Wars – The Force Awakens’ presentation. See the below link if you haven’t managed to stumble upon it today (it has been everywhere, so, more than likely, you have).

Star Wars: The Force Awakens SDCC footage

There isn’t a lot of new footage in there, but the new stuff is great. A few new action shots, a great shot of a damage and crashed Tie Fighter with its new ‘First Order’ paint job, confirmation Simon Pegg is in the film (as an alien in a suit, so don’t expect to spot him in the movie proper), some great looks at the practical effects J.J. Abrams and co have been implementing to bring back the feel of the original trilogy.

All in all, it looks great. There is still not a lot of details on the story, which is good. Just enough to keep the already salivating fans hungry. If you’re a Star Wars fan (and if you’re not, you should be!), take a look. There is a lot to enjoy.
